Five States, Four Days

I will go through five states in the next four days. (I have a feeling I'll be very tired on Tuesday). Tomorrow morning we leave for Dallas to see the King Tut exhibit--fun! It's a family trip and I think it will be Henry's longest road trip. That should be interesting; I'll let you know how that goes when we get back. We get home on Sunday then Monday morning I am taking my class on a field trip to Kansas to build a house. So, that's Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas if you were wondering. (Does Arkansas count? I think it should since I'm leaving it and coming back twice.)

It definitely counts! Btw, the Tut Ankh Amun-exhibit: have the borrowed parts of the 5000 (when Carter discovered the grave 1922 there were 5000 artifcts - many in solid gold) artifacts from the Egyptian museum in Cairo? I have seen that exhibition three times - all the things - in Egypt. It is just MARVELLOUS! And we have seen his grave in Valley of the Kings, Luxor/Thebe. I just love the egyptian history - I am right now reading a huge antology about the oyramids in Egypt, written by a swedish scholar. Most interesting. Have a fun trip! Say hello to your family!

We had a nice trip to Dallas. The Tut exhibit was truly amazing.

Believe it or not, Henry was really good in the car both ways.

I feel like I'm only now recovering from all the travel.
