Happy Mardi Gras, Carnival & Fettisdagen! Eat some semlor and beignets for me--I'm trying to cut carbs. Our neighbors are from New Orleans and had a Mardi Gras party this weekend. Henry got to ride around the block on the fire engine and pull the horn and turn on the lights. The neighbor's brother owns the fire truck and wants to bring it to Henry's birthday party in May. I think we'll have to take them up on the offer. (Wouldn't Karl be in heaven?)

Eight is the number of snow days our school district has missed this winter. Today was another day off, so we decided to enjoy it with a little sledding and some aerobics.





I have had plenty of time off to refine my morning talk show viewing schedule. I have decided that Kathy Lee Gifford is less annoying than Elizabeth Hasselback. Chad disagrees.
