My students are taking their state standardized tests this week and my worst nightmares have been realized--and we are only halfway through! (This is a very stressful time for students and teachers too.) The air conditioner on our wing has been out all week and it is 75 degrees in my room. A part has been ordered, but no word on when it will arrive. We can't open the windows, because THEY DON"T OPEN! (Who was the architect that designed our building and has s/he ever been in a room with 30 stinking, body odor smelling, farting teenagers?) I also woke up on day one of testing sick. Since substitutes can't give the test, I had to drag myself to work with a fever. I can't tell you anymore because it probably wouldn't be professional, but let's just say that I've seen the bi in bipolar. Between the kids antics and some teacher antics too, I have enough material to start writing a novel.
Speaking of nightmares....what is your worst nightmare? I have this recurring nightmare that my teeth are loose and falling out. I have this dream so frequently that I finally looked it up to see what it means. They say that if you have this dream you have either said too much or have not been able to say your piece. Alright, now it's your turn... What is it? Serial killers? Falling off a cliff? Come on...spill it.

In Sweden we are used to cold weather and many buildings are heated up when it is cold outside, whatwe arn't used to is that it sometimes is too warm. The school I went to before university didn't have ac and we could have 30 C (about 85 F) in some parts of the school. Andthe classes we had when we used computers... Oh that was horrible...
One thing I kept on dreaming about as pregnant wasthat someone broke in to our flat and killed Erik, miss M and the baby in front of me and then left without killing me. I was crying every single time when I woke up from that dream and I couldn't go back to sleep. According to what I found that would mean that it is going to be rain.
We can´t open the windows in my church. My conclusion - it does not have to be right - is that a a male architect made the church. It´s just sp stupid! And a classroom with stinking kids - my goodness. Silly! Girls, what nightmare you have! I bet oýour teeth are nice and very well stucked and Louise, just knock the intruder down! Bam! Wrooom!
I have had the dream about my teeth falling out too....in the dream i am always positive that this is the first sign that i am dying from some ebolla-like disease where i rot from the inside out...
there is also the one where i am wandering through the streets of the city i live in and there is no one anywhere..it is like everyone died only there aren't even bodies and i know that i am the only person on earth and i am completely frantic...
i have all sorts of crazy, and unfortunately, all-too-vivid nightmares
